Notebooks/Sketchbooks
They vary in size but they have one thing in common - they are large format bound books on which one can do whatever it pleases. Inside pages are usually blanks because they offer greater flexibility to the content. They can be sketchbooks, scrapbooks or notebooks you take with you to school. They can be guestbooks, accountbooks and diaries. Their use is limited only by your imagination.

Pocketbooks
They are small and cute, sometimes elegant. They can be personal phonebooks, agendas, organizers, listkeepers. They perfectly fit your bag or pocket. They come in both lined and blank pages.

Binding styles
+Coptic stich: alows for flat opening of the book on a surface. Spine is visible and the stiching pattern also.

+Traditional japanese. Simple yet elegant is the least time consuming of all binding styles.
+Long bind: Not one of my favourite because of the long thread which keeps on tangling while working on the bind.
